The British Soap Awards 2022 are finally returning to our screens after a two-year break due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The usual annual event will see the five biggest UK soaps from Emmerdale to Coronation Street, Doctors, EastEnders, and Hollyoaks all hoping to bag some awards.
The glamorous red carpet event will be hosted by Phillip Schofield and will be shown live on ITV and ITV Hub as the biggest names from the soap world battle it out to win awards for their work over the past year.

Emmerdale has provided viewers with a number of drama filled episodes as well as emotional storylines which won over their loyal audience.

When will the British Soap Awards 2022 be on?
The award show will air on Saturday 11 June, at 8pm. The two-hour programme will take place at The Hackney Empire in London and will be shown live on ITV.
