British Prime Minister Keir Starmer recently held discussions with both US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the aftermath of a heated exchange between Trump and Zelensky in the Oval Office. A spokesperson from Downing Street confirmed that Starmer reaffirmed his steadfast support for Ukraine and is actively involved in seeking a pathway towards a sustainable peace that prioritizes Ukraine's sovereignty and security.
The spokesperson further stated that Prime Minister Starmer is eagerly anticipating the upcoming gathering of international leaders, scheduled for Sunday, where President Zelensky will also be in attendance. This summit, convened by Starmer, aims to convene European leaders to deliberate on strategies to bolster support for Ukraine during these challenging times.

The clash between Trump and Zelensky unfolded shortly after Starmer's own meeting with President Trump at the White House. During this meeting, Starmer reportedly cautioned President Trump against endorsing any peace agreement in Ukraine that could be perceived as a concession to Russia or its allies.
