A man is due in court charged with terrorism offences after being extradited from Spain.
Kristofer Thomas Kearney, 37, a British national based in Alicante, was arrested as part of an investigation into far-right terrorism led by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday charged with two counts of disseminating a terrorist publication.
Kearney was arrested at an address in Alicante by Spanish Police on March 2, under a Trade and Co-operation Agreement (TaCA) warrant obtained by the Counter Terrorism Command.
He was extradited from Spain on Thursday, September 8, and arrested by counter terrorism officers as he arrived back in the UK.
He was charged that evening, and first appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court the following day when he was remanded in custody.
