British influencer in critical condition in South Korea

  • British influencer Ashley Surcombe, 29, is in critical condition in a hospital in Seoul, South Korea after being found unconscious in her apartment.
  • Her parents contacted authorities through a friend after she did not respond to their messages.
  • Ms Surcombe is suffering from multiple organ failure, severe dehydration and a black eye.
  • Her family has started a GoFundMe page to cover medical expenses, as her health insurance had lapsed, with the aim of raising £50,000 for her treatment.
  • Ms Surcombe, from Gloucestershire, has been living in Seoul for the past five years, posting about her life for her 465,000 followers on Instagram.
