It comes after a BA passenger opened opened up about her nightmare flight as she was left stuck on a plane for hours after the engine froze.

Dr Aine O'Brien, 32 claimed passengers were left with a lack of provisions, and people struggled to keep their children entertained as the plane sat on the tarmac in freezing conditions.

She was trying to fly home to London from Glasgow to attend her fiend's wedding, when she was left trapped on a plane for five hours after the engine and the de-icer machine both froze.

Last Wednesday, December 14, the 32-year-old hoped that by getting a plane to attend the nuptials, after her train was cancelled due to strikes, would be the quickest way home.

But she was struck down with bad luck for the second time in a week, after her flight was cancelled the previous day.
