British Airways Blamed For a Tragic Incident That Left Passengers Bloody

A British Airways flight to Caribbean took a bloody turn when a man reportedly stabbed a fellow passenger with a broken wine bottle and witnesses are blasting the airline staff for failing to intervene.

The incident took place onboard a flight to St. Lucia from London's Gatwick Airport.

Witnesses claimed a large group of men spent hours “loudly partying with an endless supply of alcohol," as well as approaching multiple female passengers, whom they harassed or “grabbed,” before the incident, the Daily Mail reported

Passengers told MailOnline that BA staff “did not intervene” and “poured fuel on the fire” by “ignoring rowdy behavior prior to the assault, and claimed people on the plane were unable to use the bathroom for several hours.

As things got physical, two passengers reportedly suffered injuries from the broken glass, but the pilots had no option but to continue on to the island's Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort.

Two men allegedly became embroiled in a bitter argument during the 8 hour 39 minute flight.

The brawl allegedly started when one passenger, who had been arguing back and forth with another man on the flight, snapped and stormed to the kitchen area of the Boeing 777 jet, according to the St. Lucia Times.

The alleged aggressor, a man from St Lucia wearing a bucket hat and spectacles, reportedly smashed a bottle in the galley, spraying shards of glass throughout the food preparation area, before heading back up the gangway and plunging the jagged edges of the bottle into his foe.

Passengers said he was one of a group of men who blockaded access to the bathroom and “partied” for hours.

Crew members allegedly wrestled with the warring duo and forced them back into their seats, The Sun reported, and other passengers intervened.

A man described as a “peacemaker” and who has diabetes, sustained a gash requiring immediate attention from a nurse on the flight.
