The synopsis for the episode reads: "It’s Fish And Chip night on Britain’s Top Takeaways. Five of the nation’s top rated chip shops roll into Manchester for the ultimate fry-off."
Presented by Sara Cox and Darren Harriot, each episode of Britain's Top Takeaways will see five of the nations’ award winning, highly rated and innovative takeaways will compete in their own cuisine, cooking and delivering some of the finest take out in the country.
From top chippies going head to head in a fish and chip fry-off, to a battle of burgers, noodles, pizzas, Indian, fried chicken, kebabs… there’s even a Mexican showdown.
Judging the food and deciding who wins will be a host of takeaway-loving families who will eat, rate and score the food from the comfort of their own homes.
Tony's Chipshop wrote on Facebook: "Please share with everyone let them know the Scots are back. We are very grateful to to get the chance to be on TV with the best in the country.
"You are all in for a fun night, this was always my dream to cook fish and chips on live TV - no pressure."
