Britain's largest family visit Scotland on holiday and spend £352 on a 'quick shop'

Britain's biggest family have visited Scotland on a campervan holiday and been spotted spending £352 on a 'quick' shop.

The Radfords are the UK's biggest family, with 22 children in total.

The family are the stars of Channel 5 show "22 Kids and Counting" and also run a bakery business, The Radford Pie Company.

As part of their Channel 5 show the family drove to Thurso and enjoyed a barbecue on the beach but first they are seen stopping off at a Tesco supermarket to grab a few things.

The camera follows the family as they chuck in everything from burger buns, tomatoes and popcorn to clothing for some of the 22 children, who range in age between 32 right down to one-year-old.

As mum Sue walks out the shop with some of her brood and explains to husband Noel how much the shop cost he responds 'Jesus Christ!".

The narrator of the show, former Coronation Street star, Sally Lindsey, reveals that while only half their brood are on the trip, they still munch their way through a whopping 14 burgers and 28 sausages.

Mum Sue seemed to be enjoying the family beach trip, praising Scotland's scenery.

She said: "It doesn't even feel like we are in Scotland. it feels like we are abroad somewhere. The beach is just lovely. It's really nice."

Just this week the family announced they would be adding to their brood - in the form of a grandchild for Sue and Noel as their third eldest child, Chloe is expecting her first baby with partner Jake Wallace.

Chloe is sister to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

Sue and Noel also have seven grandchildren already, with Chloe's newborn set to be their eighth.

Eldest son Chris, who moved out of the family home but lives nearby in Morecambe, has three kids with his wife Nicole.

Parents Sue and Noel have previously claimed they won't be having anymore children themselves following the birth of their youngest Heidie.

Sue said that the couple have spent £1 million raising their kids so-far, adding that she has been pregnant for more than 16 years of her life.

She told The Mirror last year: "No, we are not having any more. Definitely 100% not."
