Britain's Got Talent viewers have spoken out and said 'no need for it' as they called for something to be done about screaming coming from the live audience. A number of complaints came in following Thursday night's show.
Following the latest semi final of the ITV show, which features Ant and Dec and judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and Bruno Tonioli, some viewers took to social media and said it had put them off watching and called for something to be done. They alleged 'shrieks' from one woman in the audience was too much for them and suggested it had 'ruined the show.
The screaming was so high-pitched it could be heard over the usual cheering, the Mirror reports.
Taking to Twitter, fans begged for the show to remove the audience member from the studio or warn her to stop. The tweets came in right through the show, from the very start and right up until the result was being announced.
So if anyone there did call out the behaviour, it was ignored as the screaming continued for the entire episode.
Calling it out, one viewer said: "No need for it they should of thrown her out tbh I’m sorry it’s spoilt it." Another fan wrote: "Guys- we know your tracking the socials. Please read the room and deal with the f****** screaming.
"It’s turning people off and it would be a shame if you lost ratings and advertising revenue because the show was ruined by the relentless screeching."
A third viewer agreed: "Can the screaming banshee shut the F**K UP," as a fourth said: "Malakai is amazing... the woman in the audience however.... is not... why has nobody told her? Ruined the show for me."
Fans were also quick to call out another moment called on the show after judges buzzed magician Kimoon Do, with some takign to social media to say they "were so rude to the magician".
