One Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist said it was a "dream come true" to appear on Tuesday's (May 30) show. But for fans of the programme, Olivia Lynes' turn was more like a nightmare.
The 11-year-old girl from Bath was plucked for the audition by Amanda Holden herself after her mum contacted the BGT judge and asked her to convince Olivia to come on the programme. And she was rewarded with Amanda's Golden Buzzer sending her through to the semi-finals.
Tonight, standing on a crescent moon suspected from the ceiling and singing the Frozen 2 song Into the Unknown, Olivia was given incredible feedback from the judges. But viewers would like a lower-age limit applied to future acts.
Holly Baleen @HollyBaleen tweeted: "I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, kids should be banned from performing on this show, not least to spare us from a mawkish vt intro like that #BritainsGotTalent."

And Jackie @SarkyJackie spoke for them all when she added: "I do not like kid singers on this show, however good they are. Unfair advantage, the cute factor, they should have their own show and compete against each other. #BritainsGotTalent."
