Britain's Got Talent viewers convinced of 'feud' between two judges as they spot 'tension'

Britain's Got Talent viewers are convinced they've spotted signs of 'tension' between two judges as the popular ITV show enters its fourth live semi-final. Regular judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon have returned to their usual seat behind the judging panel, but this year, have been joined by newcomer and Strictly Come Dancing star Bruno Tonioli.

Since Monday (May 29), they have been watching various acts to get closer and closer to finding a winner. However, despite the incredible assortment of performances, a number of viewers have been more focussed on two of the judges - who some say don't appear to get on as well as they may seem.

During Wednesday's (May 31) instalment, people tuning in to the show from home headed online to comment on a 'budding feud' between Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon. RyanLowther_ posted: "It’s v obvious Alesha can’t stand Bruno #bgt."

Nutbourne16 added: "I’m not convinced Alesha likes Bruno very much #BGT." Chippy replied: "Yeah she just didn't look at Bruno and kept straight faced when he was talking."

Aleshas_angle put: "Genuinely feel sorry for Alesha Dixon having to sit next to Bruno! It must be like having an annoying fly that just won’t go away #bgt." Dave_idStewart admitted: "Love how much Alesha hates Bruno #BGT."

Viewers were making similar remarks during episodes of the show earlier this week. Adjalf1 typed: "I'm not a body language expert or anything but I can tell Alesha is so done with Bruno being OTT."

Creamcanal5 wrote: "Alesha hates Bruno lmao #bgt... Alesha looks so done and embarrassed by Bruno #bgt." Plum2 asked: "Find Bruno SOOO cringe! Anyone else think Alesha looks like she’s had enough of him being OTT too?"

Bruno was announced as the new Britain's Got Talent judge after David Walliams exited under a cloud of controversy last November. The comedian, who joined the panel in 2012, quit after recordings of him reportedly making derogatory remarks about contestants were leaked.

At the time of Bruno's arrival, a Britain's Got Talent Spokesperson told The Mirror: "Simon, Amanda, Alesha and Ant and Dec were delighted to welcome Bruno to the Britain’s Got Talent family yesterday for the first day of auditions for 2023.

"The opening day’s contestants featured some fantastic auditions and the rapport between the judges - including newcomer Bruno - was fun and immediate. This bodes well for a very successful new series."

Britain's Got Talent continues tonight at 8pm on ITV
