Britain's Got Talent: Tuesday's line-up for semi-final acts and final line-up so far

Britain's Got Talent semi-finals kicked off on ITV last night.

The competition will come to an end for the year later this week with one talented contestant being crowned the winner and walking away with a spot in the Royal Variety Performance as well as a huge cash prize. Ant and Dec have been back hosting the live shows for the first time in two years.

Judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon have all been giving their input as the acts give it their all to win a place in the final on Sunday. This week there are 40 acts in total competing, including five golden buzzer acts.

From comedians to escapologists the ITV talent show really does have it all - but only one act can win. We take a look at who will be performing tonight, on Tuesday May 31, and who has already bagged themselves a bag in the final.

Tuesday's BGT semi-finalists line up

  • Amber & Nymeria - Amber and her dog Nymeria performed a dance act together. Amanda said that they were one of the best dog acts the judges had ever seen.
  • Voices of the Armed Forces Children Choir - This act is a children’s choir made up of singers whose parents serve in the military. After being surprised by Simon who invited them to take part in the show, they took to the stage at their audition to perform an original song titled Welcome Home.

  • Dante Marvin - 13-year-old Liverpool comedian Dante performed a funny song about his brittle bone disease.

  • Ryland Petty - 9-year-old schoolboy Ryland got Amanda on stage as he performed a number of magic tricks with Rubik's cubes while assisted by other members of The Young Magicians Club.

  • Ben Nickless - Ben Nickless from Lancashire won over the panel at his audition with a non-stop series of impressions from Ozzy Osbourne to Holly Willoughby before impersonating Take That while performing Greatest Day.

  • Ranger Chris - Ranger Chris took to the stage at the auditions with a group of dancing dinosaurs who performed to songs including Gangnam Style and Cha Cha Slide.

  • Flintz & Taylor - This act was Alesha's golden buzzer. Rapper Flintz performed an emotive original song about becoming a role model to his brothers while accompanied by Taylor on piano.

  • Andrew Basso - Escapologist Andrew Basso tackled one of Harry Houdini's most dangerous and difficult stunts in his audition as he was handcuffed, suspended upside down in a water cell and attempted to escape.

Singer Maxwell Thorpe was the first act of the series to make it through to the live final on Monday night. The busker left viewers and the judges mesmerised with his incredible performance, and stunning vocals as he sang the track Now We Are Free. He's been tipped to go all the way and win the ITV series, ever since his audition during the final episode before the semi-finals.

Jamie Leahey

Young ventriloquist Jamie Leahey, from St Helens, was the second act to make it through to the 2022 final on Monday night. He was given two votes by the judges against magician Junwoo, with his competitor getting the other two. The show returned to the public vote and Jamie was sent through to the live final, with many viewers torn by the verdict.

The Britain's Got Talent semi-final rounds continue nightly this week on ITV.
