The live semi-final of the 2023 instalment of Britain's Got Talent got off to a painful start as Ant McPartlin took a tumble only minutes into the show. The excitement was high for the live show - with street dance troupe Diversity kicking off the 8pm show with an energetic rendition of the Sister Sledge hit 'We Are Family'.
However, fans were not ready for what was about to follow when Ant took a slip as he raced to the stage, reports Chronicle Live. Just as the fireworks erupted - he took a heavy fall on to his back.
Laughing, Ant replied: "I think I wet myself and farted at the same time - but I will carry on." As the ITV show kicked off Dec told the buzzing crowd: "I can confirm he did fart."

As the duo walked off to the stage - very carefully - and over to the judges, Alesha Dixon told them: "I wish I could press rewind and see it again." Viewers who may have tuned into the show slightly late and missed the fall were able to see what happened when after the first advert break, a slow-motion replay was shown - just to rub it in a bit more.
Over the last six weeks, the new series of the long running programme, has kept millions of viewers entertained every weekend, with the addition of new judge and former Strictly star Bruno Tonioli, only adding to the madness. The first batch of acts confirmed to appear in Monday’s, May 29 launch show were:
Abi Carter-Simpson
Amy Lou
Enzo Weyne
Gamal John
Ichikawa
Musa Motha - All judges Golden Buzzer act
Parkour Collective
United 2 Dance
