Britain's Got Talent's Miki Dark 'exposed' as fans call out 'obvious' way Simon Cowell set on fire

Britain's Got Talent viewers are convinced they have worked out the secret behind MIki Dark's trick.

The illiusionist took to the stage in last night's edition of the popular ITV contest. The magician is known for daring stunts such as swallowing razorblades, blindfolded knife throwing and engulfing his own head in flames'

On Sunday's episode, he shocked fans as he set Simon Cowell's head on fire. Mike has previously met Simon and judge, Alesha Dixon, before as he appeared on America's Got Talent in 2020.

In last night's show, Simon sat on a chair with a cover placed over his head, which the illusionist then poured lighter fluid over. The judge's head was then placed in a box, before Miki set the box on fire, which prompted screams of horror from the audience -as Mirror Online reports.

After, Miki removed the box and revealed Simon was fine, despite appearing to be set on fire. The judges were visibly shocked but relieved to see Simon was unharmed, after the terrifying routine.

However, fans following the show on Twitter were unconvinced and claimed there was an obvious way to do the routine.

One viewer said: "Well obviously there was another box round his head and the fire was between the 2 boxes. Acting he didn't know what was happening. Getting too staged now this."

Another fan tweeted: "a fire proof box sectioned off all round the top and sides, with lighter fluid already doused on beforehand, and water Simon's head completely shielded anyway. This is basic magic that's been done for a century."

A third viewer said: "So a box with a false roof, false front and false sides nearly tricked us into thinking he set Simon's head on fire."

Meanwhile a fourth viewer said: "Have the audience and judges never seen a fire-proof hood used in special effects? It was entertaining but not dangerous in the slightest."
