Britain's Got Talent's Dec Donnelly pauses live show to issue apology to ITV viewers

Ant and Dec were forced to apologise to viewers at home during Wednesday night's Britain's Got Talent, as Bruno Tonioli was heard swearing for the second night in a row.

So far four acts have bagged a place in Sunday's grand finale and on Wednesday, it was time for eight more hopefuls to step into the semi final spotlight, for the third live show of the week. Around half an hour in, the show returned from an ad break and then Dec called a brief halt to proceedings to apologise for any 'swearing' people may have heard in the previous part.

Twitter was quickly full of reactions, with many fans not entirely sure what the apology was for, given that they didn't hear any bad language at all. One tweeted: "Swearing? completely missed it" with another responding: "Swearing? What?"

However, it didn't long for others watching Britain's Got Talent to identify Bruno as the culprit for the second successive night, after he was heard swearing under his breath on Tuesday's show. Having heard him swear again, one critic blasted: "Why is Bruno constantly swearing? Years and years of live shows on #Strictly and nothing at all. Now swearing 2 shows on the bounce," with another commenting: "Can you mute the judges mics or fine Bruno for his swearing again @ITV @BGT."

After Dec made the apology to viewers, it was then the turn of young dance group Notorious to perform and, before he gave huis critique on what he'd just seen, Bruno spoke out from behind the judge's panel to give n apology of his own.

He said: "First let me apologise personally. I was so into what happened yesterday and what do I do? I did it again and I'm so, so sorry and I promise you, Iwill never do it again.!"
