Britain's Got Talent's Ant McPartlin knocked to ground by Vigo Venn in final accident

Ant McPartlin suffered a second nasty fall on Britain's Got Talent in a matter of days, in a moment that went unnoticed by many viewers on Sunday night.

After months of auditions, the latest series of the ITV show went up a notch at the start of last week, when the live semi finals kicked off on ITV. Aiming to give viewers at home a real spectacle to enjoy, the first show kicked off with a rendition of We Are Family but, disaster struck for Ant when he made his way onto the stage at the Hammersmith Apollo, only for his legs to go from underneath him, sending him falling to the floor.

He managed to soldier on to get through the two hour live broadcast but, speaking the next day, as he got ready for the second semi, admitted he was feeling a bit sore.

Ant and Dec were at the helm of a bumper Britain's Got Talent on Sunday, with a two and a half hour live finale to crown the programme's 2023 champion. After all of the remaining acts performed and the public had a chance to vote, it was entertainer Viggo Venn who triumphed.

Viggo was gobsmacked by the result, looking completely shell-shocked, before celebrating wildly and, unfortunately for Ant, he got caught up in the chaos as Viggo launched himself across the stage and accidentally took Ant with him, with the presenter knocked to the ground.

Never ne to shy away from an opportunity to poke fun at Ant, Dec addressed the moment in an Instagram video on Monday, saying: "Jow fitting we started the week, with Ant on his back and we finished the series with Ant on his back," as Ant replied: "What was he thinking?! Two footed tackled that was. He would have been sent off for that!"
