Ant and Dec were left concerned backstage during the Britain's Got Talent auditions as an act performed a high risk stunt in a bid to impress the judges.
After nearly two years away from our screens, due to the Covid pandemic meaning last year's series couldn't happen at all, the hugely successful ITV talent show made a triumphant return earlier this month, with a double header of episodes across consecutive nights over Easter weekend. And, while it's been only two weeks since BGT kicked off for 2022, three Golden Buzzers have already been pressed.
At the end of this year's first episode, Amanda Holden sent Loren Allred, the singer of Never Enough from The Greatest Showman straight through to the semi finals, before Simon Cowell hit his buzzer for comedian Axel Blake and David Walliams turned the stage gold for dance at Born to Perform last weekend. Britain's Got Talent' s audition shows continue on Saturday night and Lorraine Kelly offered an exclusive first look at what's to come on her show on Friday.

The clip which played out on screen saw gymnastic act The Freaks take to the stage, as they built a human tower, with one gymnast at a time attempting to leap up to reach the top as the tower grows higher and higher. Alarmed by what they're watching and concerned for the contestants' safety, Ant and Dec look panic stricken as they watch on from the wings, with Ant shouting: "Oh my god!" Judges Amanda and Alesha also look horrified as the act builds and builds.
As the clip ended, Lorraine said: "We're not even giving away the big finish! There's more. That's an exclusive look at death defying gymnasts...they're called The Freaks. Will they make it through to the next round? Will they survive? Find out tomorrow night, 8 o'clock ITV."
There has already been some BGT audition drama this year as a member of young stunt act The Scooter Boys crashed to the ground moments into their performance, before coming back on stage and wowing the judges.
