Amanda Holden is said to be quitting Britain's Got Talent after years of sitting on the judges' panel to chase a new life in the United States. The long-standing BGT star has been a judge on the show since it first appeared on our screens back in 2007, and now, in the latest series, sits alongside Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell on the panel.
Reports suggest that Amanda could be stepping away from the Golden Buzzer for good, as she prepares to move to the US with her family. According to The Sun, the singer, 52, has put her London home up for sale and spent two weeks in Los Angeles over Easter, where she met with producers.
Her 17-year-old model daughter, Lexi, is reportedly keen to go to the US for university, eyeing up three institutions in Los Angeles, Boston, and New York. As a result, Amanda is thinking of relocating the entire family to America, to be closer to Lexi.

A source told The Sun: "Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now.
"She spent the school hols in LA with the whole family, and had a wonderful time. She's been hanging out with Simon and his fiancee, Lauren, who have been encouraging her to make the move, and enjoy the sunshine and blue skies permanently.
"She even visited the set of America's Got Talent, and sat alongside judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara. The producers absolutely loved her."
It is claimed that Amanda "fitted in really well" on the panel, and did not seem out of place as the producers tend to have a British voice judging America's brightest sparks and most talented performers. The reports come after Amanda suggested her new BGT co-star Bruno, who joined the panel as the show returned for another series on Saturday, April 15, is performing a special role behind the scenes.
The Strictly star joined the panel this year following David Walliams' departure from the show after ten years. Alongside mentioning the "energy" he brings to the role, Amanda said that it's been like having an interpreter on the panel, teasing that he's been translating for international acts.
