Britain's Got Talent's Alesha Dixon left red-faced after act upstages her

Alesha Dixon couldn't control her laughter as a dog "sang" to one of her personal tracks.

The panel welcomed another round of showstoppers this evening vying to make it to the live shows. One of tonight's stand-out performers came from a singing dog, Mouse, who left a strong impression on the judges, specifically Alesha.

Mouse was accompanied by her owner, Michelle, who admitted she wanted the dog to go on to be a star. She said: "I would love him to be a model. [If we won the money] he would be using it to get himself a pair of new hips."

The stage was ready for Mouse to perform but Ant and Dec shared concerns with one another backstage. They looked hesitant as to whether or not the dog could actually sing before the music started to play throughout the theatre.

Less than five seconds into the track, Alesha began to cackle as she realised Mouse was performing to one of her own songs, Breathe Slow. Once Alesha's voice was heard, Mouse began howling in unison.

Dec joked: "I do that too when Alesha comes on the radio." Throughout the performance, the Eurovision host could be seen swaying back and forth unable to control her laughter. Simon Cowell added: "I think it's better than the original and I don't say that often."

Finally gathering herself to offer feedback, Alesha said: "I thought the whole thing was very charming, very unexpected so I'm going to say yes." All four judges weighed in positively for the performance which means Mouse made it through the auditions with four resounding yeses.
