Britain's Got Talent judges will go out on the road this series to surprise unsuspecting individuals and invite them to audition on the show.
The show is returning to ITV next week and the new segment is called 'Judges Golden Moments' following on from the show's golden buzzers where the judges put their favourite acts straight through to the live finals.
One show source said: "The new element will produce some heart-warming moments. The judges are going out to meet people but they don't know they are coming.
"The idea is to highlight some brilliant people and tell their story in a different way. It really helps to make their auditions memorable and special."
The Golden Moments include judge Simon Cowell turning up in secret to the rehearsals of a children’s military choir and asking them to join the show.
Amanda Holden organised for a cancer doctor to come to Heart to be interviewed as part of a news segment but instead was ushered into her and Jamie’s studio to be told he’d been nominated by friends and colleagues to audition.
Alesha Dixon dropped into a dance class to tell seven-year-old Skylar that she’d be auditioning for BGT where she could show off a routine.
And David Walliams surprised a little boy called Anneshwar at his Warrington school to tell him he’ll be auditioning for BGT after he’d been spreading positive messages around saving the planet through poetry.

The popular series will be back on screen for the first time in two years following the pandemic and it will mark a decade with the same panel of four judges.
Now in its 15th series, the talent extravaganza this year is bigger than ever before according to ITV, as acts had an extra year to perfect their talents.
Among the eye-popping auditions teased ahead of the series is a dog act like no other, harmonious choirs and in a BGT first, a phantom man who left the judges spooked like never before. Auditions took place at the London Palladium Theatre.
* Britain's Got talent starts next Saturday(APRIL 16) at 8pm on ITV.
