Welsh of the West End have been confirmed to appear inthe semi-final of Britain's Got Talent on Friday, June 3. The group, which found fame during the pandemic, will perform alongside the likes of Nick Edwards. To find out more about the acts who have currently made it through to the final, read here.
The group previously told judges at their audition that they signed up for the TV show as they wanted to "make Wales proud". A video of them singing You Will Be Found went viral at the start of the pandemic. Speaking on stage, the group told the judges that it was the first time that they'd ever met in person, despite singing with each other in their videos.
Following their first performance, the judges and audience were very complimentary and gave the singers a standing ovation. Simon Cowell told them that they were, "exceptional". Amanda Holden, meanwhile, commented that: "Every single one [of the group] was pitch perfect." David Walliams said: "There's something about the Welsh isn't there? The Welsh are always such incredible singers."

Welsh of the West End are, no doubt, hoping that they have got what it takes to go through to the BGT final. If they do, they will join the likes of ventriloquist Jamie Leahey, operatic singer Maxwell Thorpe and comedian Ben Nickless.
Should the singing group become finalists, they join the pantheon of Welsh stars who have appeared on the show before including Paul Potts, Nathan Wyburn and Shaheen Jafargholi.
Following the announcement of their inclusion in the semi-finals, viewers took to social media to express how happy they were with their inclusion.
