When does Britain's Got Talent begin?
Britain's Got Talent will begin airing on Saturday, April 15 at 8pm on ITV1. The show will then air again the next day - at 7.45pm on Sunday, April 16 - meaning viewers don't have long to wait between episodes.
Who are the 2023 judges for Britain's Got Talent?
Following the normal format, there will be four celebrity judges for Britain's Got Talent. Music mogul and face of Britain's Got Talent Simon Cowell, known for his harsh tongue, will be back as head judge.
He will be joined by Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon. Amanda has been a judge on the show since 2007 and Alesha joined the show in 2012 after she left her role as Strictly Come Dancing judge.
A new judge for 2023 is fellow former Strictly Come Dancing judge, Bruno Tonioli who will be replacing comedian David Walliams.
Why has David Walliams been replaced as a judge on Britain's Got Talent?
David Walliams was forced to quit Britain's Got Talent after a scandal emerged over off-camera comments he made about contestants. A leaked transcript from the ITV show showed that David made crude references about one woman and called a pensioner a 'c***' during filming for Britain's Got Talent back in 2020, as The Mirror reported.
Although David apologised for the comments he quit the show. In a statement, he said: "I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020. These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”
