A British man has died in his best pal's arms after a collision on a scooter while on his first holiday abroad in Turkey, it has been reported.
Kyle Barrow died after he reportedly lost control of his bike in Manavgat, Antalya province, on Turkey's southern coast.
The Manchester man had reportedly been travelling from the beach town of Side to Kumkoy, around 30 miles away on Wednesday when the tragedy happened.
Photographs show his smashed-up scooter lying next to a palm tree after the crash.
Ambulances rushed to the scene and he was taken to hospital where he later died in his best friend's arms.
Tributes have been pouring in to remember the 27-year-old who was "one in a million" and the "spine of every group, the man that brought us all together."
Cal Junior had been on holiday with Kyle and two other friends, who all commemorated the young man with a tattoo brandishing the dates of his birth and death on their arms.
He asked friends and loved ones for support on GoFundMe to get Kyle's body back home after they found out his insurance cannot cover the cost due to being purchased whilst they were already in the country.
Cal wrote on Facebook: "I don’t know how to start this. Kyle was involved in a collision with a lorry whilst he was riding his bike. He passed away in my arms, smiling and looking at me right in the eyes, he knew his time was over and he still was happy.
"It was his first-ever holiday, we did so much yesterday it felt like he completed life, I’ve never seen him so happier than he was yesterday.
"I think everyone knew how inseparable we were. Nothing and no one could ever get in between us. I trusted him more than anyone I know, every day I spent with him was always the best day of my life.
"I’ve lost my best friend, my brother, my partner in crime, my right-hand man, I’ve lost a big part of my life that only really mattered.
"I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart, I love you, Kyle Barrow. Till we meet again."
