Bristol woman admits affray at Kill The Bill disorder

A Bristol woman has admitted affray after the Kill The Bill protest in the city last year.

Fleur Moody was to face trial in connection with public disorder outside Bridewell Police Station on March 21. Instead Moody, 26, of Albany Road, pleaded guilty to affray in a six minute hearing at Bristol Crown Court.

Judge James Patrick, who has presided over many of the cases arising from the incident, bailed her to allow for personal commitments pending sentence on September 5. He told her: "That is no indication one way or the other as to what sentence you will receive. The court has at the forefront of its mind a custodial sentence."

Davies' sentence brought the tally to 16 people jailed in connection with the riot. They have been imprisoned for a total of 60 years and five months.

Today (May 23, 2022) Matthew O'Neill, 31, of Horfield, was jailed for five years after admitting riot and arson at the incident.
