The four-day Bank Holiday weekend is finally upon us and we here in Bristol are triply excited as, not only is it an extended break from work (for some), it's also the Queen's Platinum Jubilee which means plenty of street parties and other celebrations. Plus, today marks the start of this year's Love Saves the Day Festival.
So whether you're donning your most British outfit and sipping on a nice cup of tea, tucking into an afternoon tea fit for a, well, Queen, getting to know your neighbours at a street party or getting ready for two days worth of music on the grounds of Ashton Court, you'll probably be wondering what the weather is going to do. Will it scupper your plans entirely, or is it rather fitting to have a bit of rain on what is arguably the most British day(s) of the year?
From first glance at The Met Office forecast, it looks like showers will hold off for Bristol over the next couple of days, though among the sunshine there will be plenty of cloud - so it might not be the most ideal situation if you're looking to get a bit of a Bank Holiday tan. The Met Office says that the Jubilee weekend forecast will look mostly dry and increasingly warm by day.

However come Saturday and Sunday, it looks like things could be set to get a bit showery once more. So make the most of this sunshine while it lasts and share your Jubilee weekend plans with us in the comments below.
