After a mild-start November is going out with a bang. Following huge storms earlier in the week Bristol can expect to see more heavy rain as we close out the month.
While the day will start out bright and breezy cloud will thicken throughout the morning. There will be outbreaks of rain throughout the day, some of them heavy, with things getting increasingly windy around the hills and coast.
On the other side of the River Severn things are even more serious, with a yellow weather warning in place for Cardiff. The bad weather is set to travel eastwards throughout the day, hopefully allowing Bristol to avoid the worst of it.

The warnings, put in place by the Met Office, in Wales and England come into force at 2pm on Saturday and will remain in place until 3am on Sunday. The areas of England and Wales covered by the weather warning – which include Cardiff, Swansea, Portsmouth and Cornwall – can expect as much as 40-60 mm of rain, particularly over hills in south Wales and south-west England.
Sunday will see more rain and wind, but much lighter than today.
