Hundreds of residents have now been without running water for more than 48 hours in an apartment complex in Bristol.
Around 600 people live across two buildings at Box Makers Yard near Bristol Temple Meads Station, where residents say they have been without water since approximately 6.30am on Wednesday (February 9). A blockage has been reported as the suspected root of the issue according to an email sent from Box Makers Yard to residents at 6.30am on Friday morning.

Bristol Water has been examining the issue on-site and was able to provide an update on work taking place towards restoring the water supply to the buildings. In a statement to Bristol Live, a spokesperson said: “Our inspector has been investigating an issue with the water supply connected to a block of flats at Box Makers Yard.
"They discovered that the private water tank supplying the building had no water in it and as a result, the water pumps were not running. "Our water main connecting to the development appears to be running normally, which indicates the issue is within the private supply.
"However, we’re continuing to investigate both the private and public supply network in this location to resolve the matter as soon as possible and restore supplies for the customers affected." They added that workers will be on-site with the management company’s maintenance contractor on Friday morning to provide assistance, adding that they will share a further update today.
Box Makers Yard has been approached for comment by Bristol Live for an update on the ongoing issue.
In an email to residents of both buildings, Box Makers Yard said they were "truly sorry" that the water issue still hasn't been fixed.
Staff have provided residents with bottled water from the reception, but many people have had to look for alternative solutions at their offices or book hotel rooms.
One resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Bristol Live on Thursday people had to go to offices and hotels to shower.
Having lived in the apartment block since the building first opened last year, they said: “If this is was a normal place where you’re paying the average rent, it would be fine."
Average prices for rent for a one-bedroom flat in the Box Makers Yard complex cost around £1,300 per month according to one resident.
