A software development firm is set to expand its Bristol headquarters after securing a seven-figure finance package.
Amdaris, which provides IT consultancy and application support services, is planning to grow its UK workforce by almost two thirds.
Following the funding deal agreed with bank HSBC, the company will take on a further 5,000 sq ft of space at the Aurora office building in Finzels Reach.
The firm, founded in Bristol by Andy Rogers and Vlad Nanu in 2009, said previous HSBC funding had helped it achieve a 94% growth rate last year.
Financial director Jamie Gibson said the fresh funding, the specific figures of which were not disclosed, would also help it to provide “additional benefits” for workers, including an electric car scheme.
James Shepherd, HSBC UK’s head of corporate banking in the South West, added: "We’re delighted to support a fast-growing Bristol business that is seeing success globally. The South West continues to be a hot-bed for tech firms and we look forward to working closely with the team at Amdaris as it expands.”
In addition to its Bristol HQ, Amdaris has offices in Moldova, Romania, and Dubai. The company had operated an office in Odesa in Ukraine, and relocated some of its staff to its other locations following Russia’s invasion of the country last year.
