Bristol's event scene is back and better than ever. Some of the best-loved festivals have made a comeback after a covid hiatus, while some new additions have been welcomed for the first time.
After continuous lockdowns, it's no surprise that everyone is excited to get out and enjoy their summer in 2022. And Bristol Sounds is one gig that's back after two years.
Taking over the Lloyds Amphitheatre, which offers a beautiful backdrop of the harbour behind the main stage, the huge event is offering a stellar line-up. The weekend will kick off on Wednesday, June 22 with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Confidence Man.

Sunday, June 26 will see First Aid Kit and Katy J Pearson serving up a headline show for Bristol and wrapping up the 2022 edition will be The War On Drugs. Event promoter Conal Dodds, of Crosstown Concerts, said: "We’re proud to announce the first acts from our strongest line-up yet for Bristol Sounds 2022.
"After a long period without live music, the 2022 event marks a new and exciting rebirth for our harbourside series. We're putting together a bill that represents the city's diverse musical tastes and heritage and bringing some great names to play in one of our best locations with the backdrop of Bristol's harbour."
