The car washing facility at the Sainsbury's store in Castle Court is currently out of action due to damage caused by a van. The supermarket has confirmed that the car wash was damaged last week.
An eyewitness photographed the car wash in its current state, showing a van stuck inside the facility. The eyewitness told Bristol Live that the van has been wedged inside the car washing service for more than one week.
The image shows the car wash structure which appears to have toppled on top of the vehicle.
A spokesperson for the supermarket has apologised for any inconvenience the incident has caused and claims the car washing team is working hard to resolve the issue. A Sainsbury's spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the car wash at our Castle Court store in Bristol was damaged last week.
"We’re working hard with the car wash team to get it fixed as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
