Bristol legends Sandwich Sandwich has announced plans to increase its regional influence by launching a supermarket range.
Its brand new 'Sandwich-in-a-Box' campaign will see the chain's iconic sandwiches on supermarket shelves in selected stores.
The decision by the popular Bristol chain is inspired by their team's own disappointment at the range of sandwiches currently available in supermarkets.

Speaking to Bristol Live Josh Kleiner, whose dad owns Sandwich Sandwich, said: "We believe that the quality of supermarket sandwiches don’t reach the expectations of the public anymore and hope to pave way for change within the grab and go industry."
The chains goods are famed for packing epic amounts of flavour as well as freshness and the supermarket variety promises to bring the exact same goodness.
Sandwich Sandwich has not only built up a huge name in Bristol but is also well known on social media, with an Instagram page boasting an enormous 30,000 followers. And the sandwich experts launched a new page teasing the upcoming goods, which has already gained hundreds of eager followers.
“Since announcing our Sandwich in-a-Box plans on social media the excitement it generated was quite remarkable.
"We’ve had businesses across the country approaching us to become one of the first Sandwich Sandwich resellers, showings just how much the Sandwich industry is changing. Supermarkets haven’t kept up with the demand for high-quality lunch offerings and we believe this will be the start in making a serious impact to change this," Josh said.
Being a Bristol-based business, it's only right that the chain launch their products in its home city - so this March, the team will be piloting the new grab and go products in a few select stores in the Bristol area, with plans to expand further this summer.
The first company chosen to stock the brand new goods is TOUT'S Ltd In Nailsea. Buyers can expect to find a wide range of classic sandwiches as well as their famous soft boiled scotch eggs and chilli cheese sausage rolls. And it's promised that vegans and vegetarians will also be catered for.
Ryan Brokenbrow, head of food at TOUT's, said: "We are thrilled to be working with the Sandwich Sandwich team to bring the best sandwich to the retail market.
"[The products are] packaged for convenience but still retaining the quality and 'wow' factor that Sandwich Sandwich have built their reputation on. It is great to work with another passionate local business to create a truly special food to go offering and can’t wait to have their products in our stores."
