Dubbed Bristol’s best kept secret, Beese's Riverside Bar has confirmed it’s re-opening for the 2023 season today (Friday, March 31). The not-so-secret venue is hugely popular with locals and visitors alike and has announced a line-up of events on social media for the summer ahead.
The much loved riverside pub and restaurant is situated on the banks of the River Avon at Conham Park in a tucked away location among the greenery. Many visitors travel to the riverside bar from the city centre via ferry boats, although it is also accessible by road.

While lots of people in Bristol will be well aware of Beese's and visit annually, there are many who don't even know it exists - which is why the venue refers to itself as "Bristol's best kept secret".
