Bristol's Lucy & Yak pop-up shop to close tomorrow

Popular clothes store Lucy & Yak is set to close its first ever pop-up shop in Bristol tomorrow (Tuesday, April 19).

Since March 26 the outlet, at 11-13 Stokes Croft, has provided a communal space where the mission involves local artists and makers inspiring and encouraging people to shop better and to repurpose, recycle, and repair their clothes. The shop has also hosted workshops and events.

The brand's latest organic dungarees and designs sit alongside their popular (Im) Perfect Yaks (items with slight imperfections that are still perfectly wearable), while Bristol-based We Are Hairy People have been showcasing their hand-painted creations. Customers can even drop off their old Lucy & Yak items in return for vouchers to spend in store.

Doors open between 10am and 6pm. It is unmissable as the shop front is covered with a brightly-coloured abstract mural painted by artist Molly Hawkins.

Lucy & Yak stated: "We’ve been LOVING seeing how much you've been enjoying Bristol & Yak – making the most of all the great events (and lovely Yaks!) on offer."
