Bristol's 'highly recommended' bottomless brunches including Zerodegrees

With the population of the city largely being taken up by younger people, it comes as no surprise that there is a high interest in places to go to get a drink and even a bite to eat. One food and drink experience that younger crowds are loving at the moment, whether that be for a birthday, hen do or even just a bit of fun, is a bottomless brunch.

During the meal, customers pay a set charge to get an unlimited amount of alcohol with their dishes. Sometimes diners also get unlimited food, but lots of places provide a set menu.

In a search to find the best bottomless, one food and drink fan took to Reddit to ask other Bristolians where they would recommend. On their post, the OP said: “Best Bottomless Brunch. As per the title really, what are your experiences of good bottomless brunches? Trying to find one that dies bubbly, cocktails and beer preferably.”

While asking for advice, the OP also offers some of their own findings, claiming one place called Steam ‘seems to be one that offers that’ and they had ‘heard good things’. While sharing another they had previously been to that didn’t quite hit the spot drinks-wise, but ‘food was good’.

One place that got a raving review was Revolución de Cuba located on Bristol Harbour. The commenter penned: “The food was actually pretty good and generous portions, usual for there but usually bottomless brunches have awful food! The staff also seemed very supportive in our mission to cram as much booze in as possible. Decent drinks choice too.”

“Definitely have a look, it’s the best bottomless brunch I’ve had. I love it there anyway, but it was my birthday brunch and the service was great, my food I couldn’t finish, and the drinks came out swiftly so they weren’t trying to be stingy with the booze like other places.”

Google's reviewers were also impressed with the spot, one person wrote: "I like this little gem tucked away in corner of Bristol harbour. Not exactly Cuban food but the Latin American-inspired food is actually pretty great. Love the paella and the toast."

Someone else penned: "Had a great experience here for a friend's birthday recently. Great food and cocktails, also had fantastic live music and dances happening on a Saturday night. Was a really good atmosphere and I enjoyed it."

Another popular choice for the daring brunch is Zerodegrees on Colston Street near the city centre. And while it didn’t quite tick all the boxes the OP set out, a few commenters felt it was worth a mention. One said: “Zerodegrees, no cocktails but unlimited beer/prosecco and pizza,” with a second quickly backing the first up.

This place scored a cool four stars by Google's reviewers. One person said: "The view is amazing. I only take their own brewery beer - Mango this time 6.20£ a pint. Yes a bit expensive than other pubs but it’s craft beer by their own. The vibe is good, you can chill, enjoy the music and view."

A second said: "Went here yesterday for the bottomless pizza and beer. Dan was an amazing host, and even with the influx of runners from the 10K, he was still able to make sure we were all topped up.

"Even though the beer options were just their core range, they were rather good. The pizzas were delicious too. Highly recommended."
