Bristol Rovers' League One trip to Plymouth Argyle will have to be rearranged after the Pilgrims booked their place in the Papa John's Trophy final on Tuesday evening.
Steven Schumacher's side defeated Cheltenham Town in dramatic fashion at Home Park, winning 3-2 on penalties after the semi-final tie finished 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Argyle secured a spot in the Wembley final in the process and they will learn their opponents on Wednesday evening when Accrington Stanley host Bolton Wanderers in the second semi-final.
The final will take place at the national stadium on Sunday, April 2. Joey Barton and the Gas were due to face Plymouth at Home Park on April 1, meaning Rovers' trip to Devon will have to be rearranged.
Rovers and Argyle are in talks over setting a new date for the fixture, which will be announced in due course.
The teams have already played three times this season, with a scintillating league game at the Mem in October finishing 2-2. The teams drew 1-1 in the Papa John's Trophy group stage before meeting again in the quarter-finals, with Plymouth winning 2-0 in BS7 last month.
Argyle have since lost possession of top spot in League One to Sheffield Wednesday in recent weeks, but they remain in a strong position as they close in on promotion with 14 games to go, eight points clear of Ipswich Town.
Rovers, meanwhile, are 16th in the table and eight points clear of the relegation zone after they were leapfrogged by Fleetwood Town who beat Port Vale on Tuesday night.
