The EFL have officially confirmed that fixtures have been suspended until April 3.
The last 12 hours have seen a number of high-profile figures test either test positive for the coronavirus, or forced to self-isolate after being in contact with people that have shown symptoms of having the virus.
For Bristol Rovers, that means a missed chance to build on Tuesday evening's positive win over Sunderland, with tomorrow's game against Ipswich Town being called off.
The Gas have two other fixtures ahead of the proposed return date - against Peterborough United and Rochdale - both of which will now be postponed.
Yet, in a frustrating twist of fate for the Gas, they do not have a fixture scheduled for April 4, as this was when they were due to play Portsmouth - but Pompey are in action in the EFL Trophy final that weekend.
It means the Gas' next fixture will not be until April 10 at the earliest, when they face Oxford United away.
