Bristol police appeal to find missing Sophie, 23, as 'concerns grow' for her welfare

Police say they are growing "increasingly concerned" for a woman who went missing in Bristol last night. The 23-year-old, named by police as Sophie, was last seen in the Southmead area at about 8pm yesterday evening (Friday, April 28).

This afternoon Avon and Somerset Police issued a public appeal on social media, saying officers are "growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and need the public's help to find her". Sophie is described as white, slim and about 5ft 4ins tall, with long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a green coat, black trousers and blue trainers. She has links to Blaise Castle, Stapleton, Henleaze and Snuff Mills.

Anyone who knows where she is has been urged to contact police via 999 and quote reference 5223098935. Any other information can be passed on via 101.
