A trendy new pizza parlour has finally confirmed it will open later this month. Pizzucci is preparing to launch in Gloucester Road on the site of a former tanning shop, in between Ezo Cafe Lounge and Shelter.
Pizzucci is a new concept from the team behind Bosco Pizzeria, a popular Italian restaurant group, which has sites in Clifton, Cheltenham and Bath. The idea for the sister restaurant was first conceived in lockdown, Bosco boss Miles Johnson told BristolLive in 2021.
It was initially earmarked to open in May last year after the restaurant group first put in an offer on the former salon back in 2021. Since teasing announcements over the past few months, it looks like the pizzeria is ready to open later this month.

The pizza parlour will focus on New York-style 18-inch pizzas as well as giant slices to go. The menu will feature Bosco's signature soft-serve ice cream from Swoon and freshly made bomboloni, which are Italian doughnuts.
There will be boozy slushy machines loaded with frozen cocktails. Opening times are yet to be confirmed although it is promoting itself as a late-night venue trading as a restaurant and a bar.
Pizzucci will hosting a free slice giveaway on March 11 at 1pm to honour the new opening. The new pizzeria will be opening fully on March 16 at 5pm You can follow Pizzucci on Instagram for updates.
