A Bristol man has vowed to never shop at Amazon again after a row broke out with a delivery man.
James, who preferred to not give his surname, says tensions started when he saw his parcel being 'thrown like a ball' at his door. When he questioned the delivery man about his over-zealous methods, he was branded a racist by the employee.
Amazon has now launched an investigation into the incident. James told Bristol Live that when he asked the worker about throwing his package, he replied: 'If anything’s broken Amazon will replace it”.

Feeling shaken by the entire experience, James made the decision to contact Amazon’s customer service department to complain but said they offered little help. He said: “They offered apologies, of course, and reassurances that it wasn't considered acceptable. However, when I asked if I could get the driver blacklisted from delivering to my address in the future, they said.' no'.”
James was then handed off from one person to another, ‘essentially they were palming me off.’ Before being told they would investigate but they wouldn’t be able to update him for data reasons.
“I order from Amazon all the time," James said. "My wife is due in October and there’s loads of stuff we want to buy from the baby, but I don’t want to buy from them now because I don’t want this guy showing up at my house.”
