Bristol garage sells for more than a three-bed holiday pad in Scotland

A double garage in the upmarket suburb of Clifton has been snapped up for the same price you could buy a three bed holiday cottage in Scotland or a two bed beach pad in Cornwall. The brick double garage in Hanbury Road went up for sale in the June online auction at Hollis Morgan auction house.

The auction was streamed live and the double garage as Lot Number 7 came under the hammer on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. It was up for a guide price of between £50,000 to £75,000.

But parking is at a premium in the heart of Bristol and the double garage fetched a staggering £82,000. This costs more than a holiday home in Scotland and just short of a price for beach pad with a rooftop terrace in Cornwall.
