Tributes have been paid to Mohammed Adeel Qureshi, who died in a car crash on the M25. He has been described as a 'family man who told his mum that he loved her every day'.

Preparations are being made for the 28-year-old's funeral on Friday in Fishponds at a mosque, close to the Qureshi family home where floral tributes are being left in his memory. Adeel died in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, February 23, while with friends who were on route for a weekend away in Amsterdam.

Another man, believed to be from Bristol also died in the crash and, a third passenger thought to be in his 20s remains in a critical condition in hospital. The driver has now been discharged from hospital and returned home according to a report from The Mirror.

Adeel, who is one of 10 children, is close to his family and works for the family business. He was the youngest of five boys and was particularly close to his mother.

Adeel lost his father in 2007 when he was 11. Family members have described Adeel as loving, sensitive and generous.

Just over a week before the tragic car crash, Adeel had given his mother flowers for Valentine's Day. When he left Bristol last week, the last words he said to his mum were, ‘good night, I love you mum, I’ll do anything for you'.

On behalf of the Qureshi family, Adeel’s uncle Imran Qureshi said: “What a character, full of life, always happy and laughing with a unique infectious laughter that would catch your attention and make you smile. Such a popular lad, touched so many lives.

“Since he sadly passed away, so many have come forward saying how he was so respectful especially to the elders, was so generous especially to the youngsters, was so loving especially to his family.

“Every night he would text his mother how much he loved her and said goodnight to her. Adeel dearly missed his dad who passed away in 2007 and not a day went by when he would not remember his father, who was a very well known and respected businessman in the community.

“We miss his presence, but we cherish his memories. As Muslims we believe the soul lives on and we pray his soul has now been united with his dad. To Allah we belong and to him is our return. You will be missed so, so much by each and every person you met, your family and friends.

“We love you so much and one day we shall all meet in heaven inshallah.” The funeral of Mohammed Adeel Qureshi take place this Friday (March 3) and the family would like to welcome anyone who would like to pay their respects.

The service will start at 10am at Faizan E Medina Mosque, 577-579 Fishponds Road,BS16 3AF. Prior to Juma prayers at 10.30am there will be a face viewing of the deceased.

The burial will take place at South Bristol Cemetery, BS13 7AS at 3pm after he is escorted by horse and carriage. At 2pm, friends and family members are welcome to walk behind the casket from the mosque to the Shell petrol station in Fishponds.
