One of Bristol's most popular comedy festivals has revealed its huge line-up for 2023 and announced it will be changing location. Bristol Comedy Garden 2023 will be returning to Queen Square for five days this summer after two years on Clifton Downs.
The south west's biggest comedy festival had temporarily been moved to the Downs in 2021 and 2022 to host an open-air event to allow more space for social distancing during the Covid years. Organisers confirmed the return of the Big Top tent in Queen Square this summer for June 14-18, 2023.
Previous years have welcomed some of the biggest names in comedy including Dara O'Briain, Nish Kumar and Simon Amstell.

This year, Sarah Pascoe, Jack Dee, Dylan Moran and Ed Gamble have been confirmed to perform alongside other huge names including Alan Davies, Nina Conti, Tim Key, David O'Doherty, Phil Wang, Fern Brady and Bristol's Jayde Adams and Mark Oliver. The full line-up can be seen on the poster, featuring a total of 36 names.
The Big Top tent offers fully allocated seating and is likely to sell out before the day of the event. Parts of the festival is outdoors so organisers advise attendees should check the weather forecast before they arrive and dress accordingly. There are no cloakroom facilities at the event.
Tickets for Bristol Comedy Garden are on sale now for £25 plus booking fees. The event is presented by heycar and will be hosted in Queen Square June 14-18, 2023. https://www.bristolcomedygarden.co.uk/
