Max O'Leary - 8
Made a really good save with his feet to deny Dike just moments after City had doubled their lead. Excellent from crosses and commanding his area. A brilliant double save in the second half denied Thomas-Asante initially before clawing out an effort from the resulting corner.
George Tanner - 8
Another consistent performance by the youngster who continues to prove his reliability at right-back. Played the pass forward for Bell to score his second of the game. Also teamed up with Sykes well down his side, particularly in the first half.
Zak Vyner - 8
Another faultless showing at the back for Vyner. Barely gave Dike a sniff and read the game superbly to cover that space between Tanner. Made a crucial glancing header in the first half from a delivery out wide.
Rob Atkinson - 7
An error against Wallace almost proved costly in the first half and was beaten for pace by the run of Dike in behind. Looked a lot more comfortable in the second half, winning his headers and didn't allow substitute Thomas-Asante to have an impact.
Jay Dasilva (off 87, Taylor-Clarke) - 7
A solid performance by Dasilva on his return to the starting XI although didn't produce a showing that would warrant his position on the side over Pring. Defensively sound up against Wallace but sometimes frustrating going forward with his delivery.
Kal Naismith - 8
Really effective in that defensive midfield position and seems to be growing into the role. Added a calmness on the ball and often kept it simple by spreading the play. Crucial in the second half to helping keep a clean sheet.
Matty James - 8
Barring one misplaced pass that allowed West Brom to break, it was another excellent first half of football, proving key as City dominated the midfield battle. Has forged a terrific understanding with Scott.
Alex Scott (off 87, Francois) - 9
A long time coming but the midfielder grabbed his first goal of the season with a surging run from deep into the area. Completely dictated the game and alongside Bell, was the best player on the park. Moved into a false nine position in the final 15 minutes.
Mark Sykes - 8
Had some joy down the right and linked up with Tanner really well at times. Played a brilliant cross that allowed Scott to grab City's second and could have assisted Wells before that. Quieter in the second half but still posed a threat and could have had a goal for himself but dragged his strike wide.
Sam Bell - 9
A superb finish to give City the lead, curly an unstoppable first-time effort into the far corner. His second was equally as good after showing an electric turn of pace to latch onto Tanner's pass to beat Button. Terrified the defence when running at them and is playing with such confidence.
Nahki Wells (off 76, Williams) - 7
Played a great pass into Sykes in the build-up to City's second goal. Was instrumental in all of the good play going forward. Worked tirelessly to create space for Bell and Sykes to exploit and gave the defence barely any time on the ball. His performance just lacked a goal.
