Max O'Leary - 5
Made a smart save in the early stages but had little chance with Blackpool's three strikes. Didn't offer much of a presence to deal with Blackpool's set-pieces. Was let down by his defenders today.
Tomas Kalas - 4
Certainly not his best day at the office and found himself exposed on the right side. Klose had to cover for him on numerous occasions but wasn't given much help from the wing-backs. An afternoon to forget for the Czech.
Timm Klose - 5
Showed his experience by making a number of crucial interceptions in the first half before Blackpool breached City's defence. Reads the game superbly at times but his team-mates didn't help him out at all. Looked increasingly frustrated as the game went on.
Cam Pring - 4
Struggled up against the physical presence of Gary Madine in the first half. Bowler also gave him a torrid time and he failed to deal with the attacker for Blackpool's third. He showed the forward on his left foot and slotted it simply into the corner. Exposed in the second half with Dasilva pushing high up the field.
Jay Dasilva - 5
Was given a hard time of it by Hamilton on the right side. Made a number of decent passes going forward but defensively a little suspect. Moved to the left in the second half and played high up the field, leaving plenty of space behind him. Assisted Wells in the final moments of the game.
Callum O'Dowda - 3
Was arguably at fault for the opening goal when he dwelled on the ball for too long instead of hacking it clear. Blackpool recycled the ball, delivered the cross and City were 1-0 behind. Was subbed off at half-time which probably summed up his performance.
Alex Scott - 5
A very quiet first half and appeared to struggle the most in the conditions. Had a glorious chance to pull one back in the second half but scuffed his strike. He should have buried it.
Han-Noah Massengo - 6
A bit of an off day for Massengo judging by the high standards he has set in the previous few weeks. Showed his potential and class in glimpses and was certainly one of City's better players - although that's not saying much. Full of endeavour both defensively and going forward.
Andi Weimann - 3
Appeared to be a yard or two off the pace throughout the game. Played behind the strikers in the first half but switched over to the right in the second half. Failed to make an impact and was eventually subbed off for Wells in the second half. He could have no complaints.
Antoine Semenyo - 6
Had City's best chance in the first half but his strike was well saved by the Blackpool stopper. A number of decent opportunities and was certainly the most lively out of the City frontmen. Was unlucky to hit the side netting in the second half and will feel he should have been on the scoresheet.
Chris Martin - 3
Pretty anonymous throughout the game, was barely given space to manoeuver by the Blackpool defence and was involved in a real physical battle in which he came off second best. He arrived into the game in-form but endured an off day like the majority of his team-mates.
Subs
Joe Williams (on 45) - 5
Didn't have much of an impact in the second half as Blackpool put the game moments after he came on. City did look more assured in midfield following his introduction.
Nahki Wells (on 72) - 6
Game was dead and buried on his introduction and barely had a kick until his goal. It was laid on a plate to him and he couldn't miss.
Subs not used: Wiles-Richards, Bell, Vyner, Conway, Benarous
