Bristol Airport parking and drop-off charges as well as tips to save you money

Whether you're venturing abroad for the Easter holidays, waiting to get a bit of Summer sun, or are planning a spontaneous getaway soon, it's worth staying up to date on Bristol Airport's parking fees, to prevent you from getting caught out. Parking - and even dropping someone off - at the airport can be costly if you're not prepared.

And you'll want to save as many pennies as you can for spending money and maybe a bit of Duty Free. With the sheer number of parking options at Bristol Airport, things can get a bit confusing, so we have put together a handy guide.

It includes information on Bristol Airport's Silver Zone, Long Stay, Multi-storey, Short Stay and Pick Up car parks, as well as how long you have to drop someone off at the airport, and how long you can wait in the Waiting Zone, before you start to get charged. This information is all correct at time of writing (April 3) but is subject to change and you can find more information on the airport's website.

This car park has a no return policy within the hour. Prices are as follows:

  • 0-60 minutes - FREE
  • 1-2 hours - £25

Picking up

The 'Short Stay and Pick Up' car park is conveniently located opposite the terminal and is just a short walk to Arrivals and Departures. As the name suggests, it is ideal for passenger pick up and even stays of up to three days, with prices starting from £5 for 20 minutes.

Prices are as follows, but you can also book online for stays of one or two days and save money on the 'turn-up' gate price:

Meet and Greet car park

The 'Meet and Greet' car park is a premium concierge service offering the "ultimate convenience in airport parking" and is bookable online in advance only.

Parking for your holidays

There are a number of options you can choose from when it comes to where to park while you're on your holidays. The airport boasts the 'Silver Zone', 'Long Stay' and 'Multi-storey' car parks, all at varying distance from the terminal, depending on what you're after.

The 'Silver Zone' car park is "perfect for stays longer than one day" and there is a bus journey to the terminal from here. You will need to book online in advance to use this car park.

The 'Long Stay' car park is "perfect for stays longer than one day, and slightly closer to the terminal than the 'Silver Zone' car park". You can book online in advance to save on the 'turn-up' gate price, which is as follows:

  • 0-24 hours - £50
  • 2 days - £70
  • 3 days - £90
  • 4 days - £110
  • 5 days - £135
  • Per day thereafter - £12

The 'Multi-storey' car park is a short three or four-minute stroll from the terminal, making it "ideal for travellers looking for speed and convenience". It has many covered spaces, with dedicated entry and exit points, number plate recognition and space availability indicators to make the journey through the car park "seamless and quick".

You can book online for this one, or pay the gate price as follows:

  • 0-24 hours - £60
  • Per day thereafter - £25
