Bristol Airport will be hosting a job fair today, Thursday, March 3, where more than 400 jobs on offer from a wide range of businesses.
Teaming up with other employers based across the site, the fair will give prospective candidates the chance to find out more about the variety of permanent roles available. These include positions in customer service, hospitality, retail, airline handling and security.
It will also provide an insight into seasonal roles - a perfect chance for students or anyone wanting a taster of what working at the airport entails. The 400 positions are being created in the lead up to the summer peak season which starts at the end of March.

Companies attending the fair include Swissport, DHL, Jet2, Mitie, Superdrug, InMotion, Monsoon, Hilton, Europcar, Claires Accessories, Frankie and Bennys, Accessorize, WH Smith, special assistance company OCS, travel catering specialist SSP, security provider ICTS and duty free shopping operator WDF. Employees from the airport, as well as the 19 business partners attending, will be on hand to give information about the roles available and people will be able to speak with teams at these stands on the day to find out more.
The job fair, which takes place at Lulsgate House at Bristol Airport, will be open to all ages and some of the job titles people will be able to explore at the fair include:
- Retail manager
- Baggage handler
- Security operative
- Retail merchandiser
- Front of house manager
- Bar staff
- Housekeeping
- Chef and key holder supervisor
- Cleaners
- Baristas
Debbie Hartshorn, people director at Bristol Airport, said: "As travel restrictions ease, we are now able to see the road to recovery for the aviation industry. With a very busy summer season ahead of us, we will be hosting our first face-to-face jobs fair since the pandemic showcasing a wide range of employers and hundreds of interesting roles to suit people with different skills and experiences.
