Bristol Airport investigation launched after disruption at baggage reclaim

Bristol Airport has apologised after delays for passengers at baggage reclaim.

An internal investigation has been launched with airline handling agents after a deluge of disgruntled passengers posted that they had to wait hours to get their cases. Some described events this morning as an "absolute shambles".

It came amid an exceptionally busy month for the airport. There have been a number of occasions where travellers have been forced to queue outside the building just to check-in.

Apology from Bristol Airport and investigation launched

A spokesperson for Bristol Airport said: "Baggage delays were experienced last night to some flights arriving into Bristol Airport in the early hours of Sunday 15 May.
