A woman out celebrating her friend's birthday over the bank holiday weekend ended up getting stuck head-first down the back of a sofa.
Lindsay Clark was out enjoying bottomless brunch for her friend Julie Jackson's birthday when one of their friend's jackets slipped down behind their seats at the Twelve Twenty Five Restaurant in Newcastle. While attempting to retrieve the item of clothing, Lindsay fell down behind the sofa head-first.
She ended up getting wedged there for around 10 minutes, as restaurant employees rushed to pull her out. Staff each grabbed hold of one of her legs, but struggled to free her.

The video shows Lindsay's friends in hysterics and filming as the Twelve Twenty Five workers try to pull her out, reports Leeds Live. Eventually, after much effort they managed to get her out, though one of the employees ended up going back down to grab the jacket Lindsay had originally gone to retrieve.
The entire restaurant breaks into cheers as Lindsay, wearing a jumpsuit, is released from behind the sofa. Lindsay told ITV News : "I knew they were all videoing us, but it was when I was wedged in I was like, 'What the hell's going on?'
"Then when they mentioned the fire brigade, that's when I was panicking, like 'God this is going to be so embarrassing, get us out!'" She also said she was thankful she was wearing a jumpsuit rather than a dress, and wasn't too embarrassed to go back to the restaurant.
Twelve Twenty Five even reposted the hilarious video Julie shared on Facebook, with many people commenting on it to say the escapade reminded them of their own friends.
