Ahead of Saturday’s clash, we have the Brighton vs Everton preview, prediction, latest team news and predicted lineups.
Brighton Vs Everton Preview
After their brilliant 3-1 victory against Manchester United last time out, Brighton are back on track in their pursuit of securing a top six finish.
Yankuba Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma and Georginio Rutter netted for the Seagulls who have now won three successive Premier League games at Old Trafford.
Prior to that, Fabian Hurzeler’s men recorded a 2-0 victory away vs Ipswich. Mitoma and Rutter netted the decisive goals at Portman Road.
Saturday’s clash at the Amex is the first on home soil since January 4 and the south coast side’s loyal supporters will be hoping for a fourth win on the bounce in all competitions.
As it stands, the Albion are just four points off faltering champions Manchester City who currently occupy 5th spot in the table.

Everton head south off of the back of an impressive 3-2 win against Tottenham last time out. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Iliman Ndiaye and an Archie Gray own goal helped secure the points at Goodison Park.
That victory was the first since manager David Moyes returned to the blue half of Merseyside. The Toffees legend has been tasked with preserving the club’s top-flight status this season.
Another moral-boosting win will certainly help go a long way in doing just that. As it stands, Moyes’ men are in 16th place and four points above the drop zone.
Historically, the Blues have a decent record at the Amex and have never lost to Brighton twice in the same campaign. They are unbeaten in their last four visits down south and famously won 5-1 in the 2022/23 season.
Ahead of Saturday’s clash, the best football betting sites in the UK price Brighton as the 20/29 favourites. Everton can be backed at 23/5 with the draw 29/10.
Brighton Vs Everton Team News
Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner are still missing for Brighton. The duo are expected to return to first-team duties next month.
The quartet of Evan Ferguson, Mats Wieffer, Brajan Gruda and Jack Hinshelwood have all returned to training after their recent injury troubles.
Man of the moment Kaoru Mitoma will be looking to continue his rich vein of form. The midfielder has rediscovered his scoring touch in recent weeks and netted the opener in the reverse fixture in August.
Meanwhile, Everton aren’t expected to make too many changes to their starting XI. David Moyes has already seemed to get the best out of Jesper Lindstrom and Jake O’Brien.
The duo certainly made a positive impression in the victory over Tottenham. So too did forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who ended his goal drought.
On the injury front, Dwight McNeil and James Garner are still unavailable but their returns are expected sooner rather than later.

Brighton Vs Everton Predicted Lineups
Brighton (4-2-3-1): Verbruggen; Veltman, Dunk, Van Hecke, Estupinan; Baleba, Ayari; Minteh, Joao Pedro, Mitoma; Welbeck

Brighton Vs Everton Prediction
Interestingly, the away side normally comes off better in this fixture but Everton’s dire form on the road is hard to ignore. Plus David Moyes has a poor record against Brighton.
The Seagulls trio of successive wins in all competitions has certainly boosted morale at the Amex and it’s hard to envisage anything but three points for the Albion.
Prediction: Brighton 3-1 Everton
