Brighton Pride 2024: The lineup, key dates, and how to get tickets

The lineup for Brighton Pride 2024 has been announced and it is set to be a star-studded event.

This year, guests can expect a schedule packed with music, enjoyment and celebration. The theme is Joy: celebrating life, spirit and resilience. The event will be centred on “challenge”, encouraging people to “dare to be different”.

“With over 150 LGBTQ+ artists across the weekend, we are beyond thrilled to welcome a fantastic and diverse line-up to Brighton & Hove Pride for 2024 and, with Love, Protest, Unity and Joy at the core of our community parade, we invite everyone to celebrate your true colours,” Brighton & Hove Pride managing director Paul Kemp said.

The Pride Village Party and Pride Community Day & Dog Show will also make their return.

But when will it take place, what route will the parade follow, who will be performing and how can you get your hands on some tickets?

Brighton Pride headliners

This year's event will be headlined by Girls Aloud and Mika. Girls Aloud will be Saturday’s headliners, while Mika will be Sunday’s headline act.

Also confirmed are Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gabrielle, Peaches, Fat Tony, Beth McCarthy, Princess Superstar, DJ Paulette, Lynks, Horse Meat Disco and Girli. As well as Kevin Aviance, Björn Again and Danny Beard, with more acts to come.

When is Brighton Pride?

Brighton Pride 2024 will be a two-day affair. It will take place over Saturday August 3 and Sunday August 4.

How to get tickets

Though the city-wide event itself is completely free to take part in, you’ll need a ticket to join in the fun in Preston Park’s two-day Fabuloso extravaganza.

Tickets range from single-day entry or a full weekend pass to VIP packages. VIP tickets allow access to the Platinum Circle, which is close to the main stage and other perks, including a separate entrance to the park and private toilets.

Tickets are on sale for Fabuloso in the Park here.

Some smaller events across the city may also require visitors to purchase a ticket.

How to get to Brighton from London

The easiest option is to use public transport. There are frequent Southern and Thameslink trains from London and National Express runs hourly coach services from London Victoria bus station.

Visitors thinking of driving should be aware that there will be significant road closures once the festivities kick off and parking is likely to prove difficult and pricey.
